SANDBOX designed this 5,100 s.f. mountain ‘farmhouse’ for a large lot in Martis Camp. Situated down a long meandering drive, the home has the feel of a large family compound, with a water feature that travels from the front of the home, underneath a bridge, to the rear by the hot tub. A large level lawn area out back, accessed off the expansive rear deck, makes for perfect afternoons with the family, playing games and enjoying time outdoors.
Inside, the floor plan is open and generous, with room for the largest of family gatherings. Rustic reclaimed barnwood flooring and heavy timber trusses contrast nicely with brighter painted finishes to create a harmonious balance.
